Breakers for skid steer loaders and backhoe loaders are also available. New Komatsu breakers offer the highest levels of impact energy – an essential productivity element – by combining gas and hydraulic pressure. They are proven to deliver best-in-class impact energy, as documented by an independent testing agency. A smooth recoil action results from a nitrogen-filled, low-pressure gas system that absorbs piston recoil, reduces vibration and noise, recycles energy for the next blow and improves efficiency. Komatsu breakers’ simple design is based on just two moving parts: a piston and a control valve. Exceptionally reliable, Komatsu breakers require minimal maintenance, due largely to their streamlined design. Instead of a conventional rubber bladder-type accumulator (which has to be replaced periodically), Komatsu breakers have a metal orifice that never wears out, so never needs replacing.
